Our story
Couture Rochette was founded in 1995 by Carl Couture, Raynald Rochette, Gilles Pelletier, and Donald Leblanc, who had worked at one of the world's largest insurance companies for more than ten years. Their distinctly "Quebec" way of doing business led them to redefine what it means to be a local property and casualty insurance broker for Quebec's entrepreneurs.
Their goal was to provide Quebec businesses with access to the skills and know-how they acquired at the most respected insurance companies in the world and to build trusted relationships with them through unswerving dedication to customer satisfaction.
To broaden their range of products and services and enhance their ability to serve their ever-growing clientele, Couture Rochette formed a strategic alliance with Deslauriers & Associés in July 2017. With a premium volume of more than $100 million, the resulting group became one of the three largest independent insurance companies in Quebec. That fall, Renaud, an insurance company specialized in construction, joined the family of companies.
Now with a premium volume of $115 million, Couture Rochette is a leader and one of Quebec's most impressive financial companies.
